The Araras Lodge is a private rainforest refuge located 60 kilometers up the Rio Negro River from the city of Manaus just before the Anavilhanas Archipelago (an Ecological Reserve and now Ecotourism Park). This floating lodge is a great place to relax and explore the region if clients have only a few days in the region, or would prefer a lodge rather than boat as their base. The lodge features 15 private air-conditioned bedrooms with bathroom,veranda with hammocks and sunset view, home cooking, bar, and swimming pool.
Near the lodge are quiet rivers and islands to explore by canoe, and guided walks take place on rainforest trails near the lodge.
